About Me!

Hello! My name is Hayley Grassler. I have a delightful twin, who I call Abitha, Munchkin or Munch Munch.  She is the one who looks like a princess in pink in the picture below. I am a senior at Notre Dame, and I’m really excited about taking this class. I’ve always really enjoyed science, but I’m excited about this class in particular because I think it will be different from any of the other sciences I’ve taken before.

My favorite place to be is stuck in a roaring thunderstorm, either inside with a book and lots of blankets and food, or outside chilling under the rain. Regrettably, I don’t get the chance to do that often as there is an unfortunate lack of rain in California right now.

I am taking Sports Medicine because I’ve always been interested in the human body and how it works, and now I have the opportunity to learn everything I wanted to. I’ve been a varsity cheerleader for the past 3 years, and because of that and injuries that I’ve witnessed, I’ve been wanting to learn how much muscles and bones can take before there’s an issue. In this class, I expect that I will be able to learn about muscles and how they work, how to take care of them, and what each muscle’s purpose is. I want to be able to have a better understanding of my body. The most challenging aspect of this course will be the cat lab, because I am really not looking forward to dissecting a cat.

  1. Hi Hayley! I absolutely love the layout and design of your blog. I like the facts that you posted about yourself and I thought they were really interesting. I think the details you put into writing why you want to take the class and your expectations were similar to mine. I am so scared to dissect a cat! Overall, your blog looks great!

  2. Hi Hayley! I think your blog is great. You organized it really well. I like how you put pictures of the things you were talking about in your description. I have always wanted a twin sister! It seems amazing. Does she cheer too? Do you cheer competitively? I’m not looking forward to dissecting a cat either. I hope it isn’t too bad. I really enjoyed your blog, great job! Good luck!

  3. Hi Hayley! Your blog looks awesome! I like the structure of your blog because it is very organized. One thing you could add to make you blog even better, would be a link to a prezi or a popplet with pictures. Do you plan on cheerleading in college? Can’t wait to see your next posts!
